Special Consideration 2024

Special consideration is a post-examination adjustment to a candidate’s mark or grade. This is to reflect temporary illness, temporary injury or some other event outside of the candidate’s control at the time of the assessment. Special consideration adjustments are granted by the exam boards and not by the school, but the school may apply for this on the student’s behalf. Details of the process are outlined here.

Having read this guidance, should you wish to proceed with an application for special consideration for your son/daughter, then please fill in the following.

Please add as much detail as possible. Please note that all entries for this special consideration process must be entered via Google Docs by Tuesday 25th June 2024, in order for us to submit them to the boards by the national deadlines.

A Level Certificates

Students can now pre-arrange to collect their exam certificates any Tuesday or Thursday during term time, between 3.00and 4.00pm from The Fideliter Building reception.

Please contact us at or ring 01782 848008 and choose Exams so that we can make sure that your certificates are available for you to collect.

If you are unable to collect your certificates in person you may arrange for someone else to collect your certificates for you. You must give them a note signed by you or send an email to giving permission. They must also bring photographic identification with them at the time of collection.

If certificates are required urgently we can arrange collection from the school reception between 9.30am and 2.30pm term time only after the specified collection dates each academic year. Please email to arrange this and please ensure you receive an acknowledgement and confirmation of the date before travelling to the college to collect them.

Certificates will only be kept in reception on the day arranged.

Certificates will be confidentially destroyed after 3 years if not collected.

Replacement statement of results can be requested if you misplace your certificates by contacting the relevant exam awarding body.  A charge is made for this by each board
