Special Consideration

On the rare occasions where there is a medical issue or personal trauma, the school is allowed to apply for special consideration on the student’s behalf.  This process is a school administered process and would therefore require you to make us aware of the issue that the student is facing, and provide evidence where appropriate. Special consideration adjustments are granted by the exam boards and not by the school, but the school may apply for this on the student’s behalf.

Details of the process are outlined here.

Having read this guidance, should you wish to proceed with an application for special consideration for your child, please apply via this link.

Please provide as much detail as possible. Please note that all entries for the special consideration process must be entered via the form by Friday 19th June 2026, in order for us to submit them to the boards by the national deadlines.
