YEAR 7 ENTRY CRITERIA 21/22

Entrance test application form. This entrance test registration form is the only form that you need to return to us prior to the 5th October 2020. Once your child has sat and passed the test, we’ll send out additional information for you to complete, detailed in the full entrance criteria.

Due to the current Covid 19 pandemic, to protect our students and staff, we are limiting access to the school site, therefore, we would ask for completed registration forms to be returned via email to admissions@stjosephsmail.com.

Registration to take the entrance test is currently closed on Friday 18th and Saturday 19th September 2020 is now closed. Applicants will be informed of the result by 5th October 2020. The local authority deadline for school choice preferences is 31st October 2020.

Please be assured that students will be given examples and practice before the test is administered. The entrance test is Verbal and Non-Verbal Reasoning.

Verbal 35 minutes

Non-verbal 40 minutes

The test is multiple choice and standardized. Practice papers can be obtained from WH Smith or online either through Amazon or Ebay (11+).
